It is very sketchy i guess or very rushed, i dont know. The art too feels very off to me, i cant really get the right words to describe it. Maybe somewhere in the future i will continue reading this series. Maybe the book and the characters in them will grow on me as i keep reading, but the first issue did not grab me enough to continue this series. The characters in this book are great but i just didnt connect or relate to any of them. Based on both the critics and users rating, i thought i might enjoy it but i ultimately didnt. Again, I need time, so I think this opening issue was enough to already get the idea that this comic has the potential. So, this is fantasy and I'm clearly not a fan, but I can't say I don't like it either. The violence on the other hand was okay, mostly only the necessary scenes.

So you could tell your friends OH MY GOD READ THIS THERE ARE ROBOTS FUCKING!!!! Meh. The sex scene of robots here was already not important and it really is here just to be here.

You know, all this edgy and grown up stuff people really love. And yeah, there's blood, violence, intestines, sex, swearing and etc. It's just that I need time to really get involved into this. And it's written fine, you really don't need to see all the beginnings of their rel ationship and etc, you catch up on it as the story flows. I mean, yeah, that's the origin of their child, so it's okay, that it begins from her actual appearance. Less characters, the series starts off from the Rick alone and adds just ordinary people.

If for example take The Walking Dead - it was simpler. Maybe it's just the first issue, because there's so many weird new characters and lore you don't know what to think about yet. Well, for now I kinda feel it's overhyped. Maybe that's good, how can it not be? Everyone loves it. Vaughan and noticed, that he has a very popular series. The hype of this series got to me maybe a year ago.
